» History July 26, 2001 IBA-Gomel is officially registered by the administration of the Gomel - Raton Free Economic Zone. 2001 On December 13, the official opening of IBA-Gomel is held. Representatives of IBA-Minsk, IBM-Germany, IPA, Gomel city authorities, and major regional enterprises and organizations attend the opening ceremony. A cooperation agreement between IBA-Gomel and the Gomel State University is signed. IBA-Gomel implements its first project, namely SAP Tower. Ten Gomel ABAP developers work hand in hand with their partners from IBA-Minsk. By the end of the year, the total number of IBA-Gomel employees reaches 16. 2002 IBA-Gomel achieves first work results. AIMS for Sterling Forest (IBM USA) becomes our main project. At the same time, the company works on different minor projects for local customers. IBA-Gomel is expanding to include Lotus and Mainframe departments. The number of employees almost doubles. 2003 Major Belarusian enterprises including Belarus Metal Works, Mozyr Petroleum Refinery, and the Gomel Branch of the Belarusian Railway become IBA-Gomel customers. The IBA-Gomel staff totals 70 people. The E-Business Technologies Department is formed. The group of companies "Alpha Integrator" - "BAAN Eurasia", the center for localization and support of Baan products in Russia and the CIS, appoints IBA-Gomel as its official partner. 2004 The total number of employees in IBA-Gomel exceeds 140 people. Repackaging and CRM Technologies departments are formed. More than 20 projects for foreign partners including IBM France, IBM Italy, IBM Denmark, and Lupus (Germany) are implemented. The Russian machine building company "KRANEKS", Ivanovo, one of the largest enterprises in Russia and the CIS, becomes a customer of IBA-Gomel. IBA Gomel certifies to STB ISO 9001-2001 and DIN EN ISO 9001:2000
