26-01-2010 SAP CIS Reappoints IBA as SAP Service Partner IBA reconfirmed its status as SAP Service Partner. To this end, SAP CIS and IBA reentered into a partner agreement within the SAP Partner Program and SAP CIS issued a relevant certificate valid until December 31, 2010.

IBA-Gomel experts participated in Software Engineering Conference(Russia) – SEC® 2006, which took place on November 16th -17th in Moscow. The conference has been organized by “TEKAMA” company and sponsored by IT-industry leaders: IBM, Microsoft, Siemens, ORACLE and SUN Microsystems. As the previous so as this year the conference aimed at the ambitious targets - consolidation of local software developers and their integration into international communities.
Within the frame of the conference there were held working sessions on the following themes: Technology and Technology Solutions, Human Aspects in Software Engineering, Project and Process Management, Business.
The participants were introduced into more then 100 reports made by the leading IT-companies embracing Russia’s, CIS’s as well as a range of word IT leaders. The reports were followed by the workshops. Among which the most significant were – Michael Fagan’s "Virtually Defect-Free Software in Less Time" and Bill Hefley’s "Sustaining Critical Competencies: Applying the People Capability Maturity Model® (P-CMM®)".
IBA-Gomel places special emphasis on maintaining close relations with local universities. Our company signed a cooperation agreement with the Gomel State University named after Francisk Skorina. Students from high schools come to IBA-Gomel to take training courses.
